Chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild

Our April meeting was held at the Clintonville Women’s Club for a special event with Libs Elliott. After a period of social gathering with appetizers and drinks, we enjoyed a truly inspiring presentation where Libs talked to us about how she makes quilt patterns using a computer programming code and then showed us some of her quilts.

Only a few business items occurred:
Randa collected mug rugs for our swap with the Triad Modern Quilt Guild.
Donna collected her mini Raspberry Kiss blocks from the Modern Quilt Bee participants.
Marah collected blocks from members assisting in piecing the 2019 fundraiser quilt.

We will meet again next month on May 9, 2019 at Martin Luther King library, 1467 E. Long Street.
