June 4 Maker’s Tote class with Mary Maben, for those who register, at the downtown library 9:30 to 4:30; pack a brown bag lunch. Please plan to have your pattern already purchased (you may buy it here), your fabrics cut, and if possible – your fusible adhered before showing up. This will help us get right into bag making.

  • My Three Things Swap bring three of your chosen item. It should be your favorite sewing notion valued around $15. You will give away these three, and in return, go home with a favorite brought by three other participants. 
  • I Support the Girls Collection of pads, tampons, liners, and undergarments. Learn more about our local chapter here.
  • The Seventh Son brewery will pay to the Guild $1 for certain beers and ciders purchased by our group, making our party somewhat of a fundraiser!
  • Bring your finished Bias Tape Applique blocks (kits distributed during Oct. & Nov. meetings) for a chance to win all the blocks!
  • Lissa is trying to get a head count and has asked that, if you know you are attending in advance, to please let her know.

  • Guild will provide main grilled items (burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments)
  • Please bring a dish to share such as a salad, side, fruit, dessert, etc.)
  • Bring your spouse, partner, family, kids, best friend, or who ever it is that you call family and come enjoy a summer afternoon with the Guild
  • Paint your own barn quilt square!
  • There is a playground next to the pavilion

Scheduled activities you may choose to participate in include: Meet your Inter-Guild swap partner, and; a Meals On Wheels placemat challenge. Snacks and water provided. Bring something to share if you’d like to.
