Members present:  Liz Webster, Dorothy M, Ellen S, Donyel Wade, Trish J, Melissa R

Mechele Herres, Kathy Faust, Susan S, Linda Selby, Susie M, Hazel church, Emily Church, Libbi V, Jen H, Rachel Ruby, Allison Costello

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by Susan and Dorothy led an ice breaker.

QuiltCon discussion held and text chain list will be set up by Linda S

By-Law update discussion led by Susan. Kathy F made amotion to accept the new by-laws as presented.  The motion was seconded by Suzie and the motion was voted on and passed unanimously.  They were signed by Trish, Jennifer and Susan and Susan will file them with national  and they will be uploaded to the guild’s Google Docs drive by Melissa

Quilt National traveling exhibit will be at the Riffe Gallery through 4-10-26.  Susan will check for hours and notify the guild

Columbus Metropolitan Quilters show will be March 13 and 14, 2026 at the Franklin Co Fairgrounds 

Suki Kwon exhibit is at the McConnel Arts Center through 3-19-2026

Suzie had over 500 sanitary pads delivered to the village in Africa along with sewing supplies for the village.  

Treasurer Report:

January started with a balance of $3529.46 and we had an income of $1091.21 and no expenses.  The ending balance is $43620.67.  We need to pay our national dues in March. 

Libbi spoke about the National Quilt Day at Sue Spargo’s studio in March and reminded people that the November Retreat for our guild will be $70 for members and $90 for nonmembers.

Linda Selby then gave a stellar presentation on labeling your quilts and brought many examples.  If you would like additional information, please visit:

Show and Tell was held and the door prize was awarded before the meeting was adjourned at 8:30
