Hi Friends!
We are so proud of our charity quilt entry for the Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) Modern Traditionalism challenge. Check out the pictures, below, of our Ohio Star quilt which will be displayed at QuiltCon this year. This quilt is constructed in a pot holder style. Each block was pieced, quilted, and bound by a different Guild member before being zigzag stitched together to form the final quilt. This quilt was designed by our members Cassandra I. Beaver and Melissa La Greca to have piecing and visual interest on both sides. Isn’t it great!?
Here is a link to the official MQG challenge, including a look at the predetermined color palette. Our guild chose to use the Robert Kaufman Kona solids version of it.
Are you going to see it live and in person? Let us know! and if you take some pictures please share them with us @centralohiomqg and #centralohiomqg
