Sonia is our Queen Bee for the month of August. She has asked for participants to piece a Magazine Rack block. Fabrics and completed sample are in the image, below.
Sonia points out that on page 80 of Elizabeth Hartman’s book Patchwork City there is the following error: Piece F is noted to be cut at 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.
The correct size is 1″ x 4 1/2″ which is the same size as piece C. Modified instruction image is below, as well.

I’m a new member who would like to try this block. Can you tell me how this works? Do you provide fabrics? How much time do we have? Do we quilt it? Are there any other guidelines?
