The fund raising quilt is done and looks AMAZING! Well done everyone who helped. Next step is to sell tickets. More to come, but Marah did confirm we’ll have the Community Table at the Worthington Farmers Market on September 21. We’ll be selling tickets and talking with the public 7:30AM-1:00PM.

Last year Joann Fabrics gave us bolts of fabric to design the quilt now hanging at their flagship store at Polaris. There are more than 10 bolts of fabric remaining many of which haven’t been opened. What do we want to do with them? Some ideas were: donate to My Very Own Blanket or James Stitching Sisters. Anyone else with ideas, please bring them to the August meeting where we’ll discuss again.
The Family picnic has been moved from July to Sunday September 15. Same place as last year in Bexley.
Social chairs, Randa and Cynthia are coordinating another happy hour. Stay tuned for details.
State Fair – those volunteering for quilt set up: it’ll be July 16 or 17 and takes 2-3 hours. Sunday Aug. 4 is our demo day. Bring whatever you’re working on. You’ll get free admission and parking pass. Looking for volunteers for Take Down on the same day. Last year it took about an hour. See Cassandra with any questions.
