Members Present:  Allison Costello, Ellen Smith, Trish Jacquemin, Linda Selby. Anthony B, Cynthia Adkins, Ann Velikoff, Jennifer Hershner, Susie Fabro, Kathy6 Faust. Nancy Kozak. Liz Webster, Rachel Ruby, Barb Kelly, Brooke Sackenheim, Libbi Vymalek, Susan Shuter,  Lanakia Alexander, Patty Merrick

The meeting was called to order at 6:45 and Dorothy led the ice breaker which was “what was your favorite Halloween costume?”

MVOB quilts will be delivered early January 2026.  If you have additional quilts for Trish to quilt, please get them to her ASAP as her Holiday rush for customer quilts will be starting soon and she will not have the time to donate to this project.  Please get them to her by the end of the retreat.  You can bring them to the retreat if you would like.  We’ll draw for the quilt raffle at the January meeting.  Everyone who participates earns a raffle ticket.  Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 or 5 for $20.  Proceeds will go to the guild and will, in part, cover the cost of supplies used for the project.  

Nominations for board members are due next Monday, 10/13/25 and all positions are up for grabs.

Venmo  issue reviewed.  We need a dedicated phone # to have the ability to use Venmo so we will not be able to accept it.  We can accept Pay pal, cash and checks.  

2026 Dues will be $55 is paid by check or cash and $58 is paid by Paypal

As of the end of September, we have a total of $5231.59 in the treasury.  We had $4877.47 and income of $604.12 and expenses of $250

Susie Fabro is collecting for her Team Rafiki and  has posted on our page the items she is requesting.  She needs these by the end of January

Our fall retreat is sold out but there are 2 spots left for the ruler workshop this Saturday.  

Dorothy passed out the flyer with the gift box pattern that we will use for a block raffle at the holiday party on December 11, 2025 at Old Worthington Library.  You will receive 1 ticket towards the raffle quilt for each quilt block brought to the party and the winner is awarded all the blocks.  Please also bring a white elephant gift for a fun gift exchange.   

Speaker for this month was Libby VanTreese who gave an amazing presentation concerning ruler work in quilting.
