By-laws – Erin, Laura, Barb, and Kate will review the guild’s by-laws. Proposed changes will be brought to a future meeting for vote.

Dues – $35 can be paid by check (made payable to Central Ohio Modern Quilt Guild), PayPal, or good ol’ cash. Payment is due by March 15.

Color Challenge – Pantone color is Living Coral. Kona color is Splash. Guild challenge is to make a 12.5” star quilt block incorporating these colors, any other fabric, and low volume background. More details on the Guild web site.

Randa asked if we’d be interested in a swap with a MQG in North Carolina. We said Yes. Randa said more to come.

Libs Elliott – Thursday April 11, Libs will give a trunk show at the Columbus Museum of Art. On Saturday, twenty lucky people will participate in Libs’ workshop for her “Embrace the Chaos” quilt. Registration will open in February and the first 20 people who register and send in their $25 deposit will be able to attend.

Social Media – Kate distributed a list for people to sign up for a 1 week Instagram takeover, and Member Spotlight on the website, for 2019. Contact Kate to sign up.

Fundraising – $613 budget for the quilt raffle was approved. Eight designs for the quilt were shared and voted on. Winning design was made by Cynthia!

Sew In – January 26 at the Whitehall Library with the Metropolitan Quilt Guild from 10:00-5:00

Placemats – Last year’s goal was 50 and we contributed more than 90 to Meals on Wheels. Our goal for 2019 is 100. More details on the guild web site.

QuiltCon Charity Quilt – Piecing has been finished! Cassandra will quilt it. Let Andrea or Marah know if you can help with the binding.
