Chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild

The meeting was called to order at 6:35 Pm and an ice breaker was led by Dorothy

*Art quilts will be displayed at the High Rd Gallery in Worthington on June 6, 2026

*AQS Quilt week is 9/21/26 to 9/26/26  The deadline for entering is 5/21/26  You can send a photo of your quilt to enter it.  AQS member registration starts 6/9/26 and non members can register on 6/23/26

*The Ohio State Fair entry deadline is 6/23/26 with quilt drop off 7/16/26 to 7/18/26

*The Franklin County Fair is 7/20/26 to 7/26/26 but no information on entering is available yet.

*Quilt Con hotel registration is now open

*Check out the MQG website for information regarding challenges.  Our guild would like to enter a community quilt.  Please bring any quilt designs you have designed to the June meeting where  we will select what quilt we will be making.  Libby will be sending out an email with more information.  It will be ½ square triangles and needs to be submitted by 9/1/26  

* We will be making and OSU themed basket for the MVOB fundraiser.  If you have any tickets to any of the OSU sports games and would like to donate them for the basket, please let Susan know.  They are also looking for zoo items and a cat basket for their pub crawl fundraiser.

*Let Suzie Fabro know if you would like to go to MVOB to help sew on labels. 

*June 11, 2026 is the next meeting and New Bag designs is the topic

* A virtual Sew in will be held in lieu of the July meeting on 7-9-26

*Show and Tell was held and meeting was adjourned.
