*The meeting was called to order at 6:30 Pm and an ice breaker was led by Dorothy
*President’s Report submitted by Susan with a list of upcoming events to be sent out by Susan.
*Treasurers Report submitted by Jennifer Hershner:
Our beginning balance was $4066.11 with an income of $210.18 and no expenses. Ending balance is $4276.29
*Brooke reminded everybody that instead of a July meeting there will be a virtual sew in on 7-11-26. It will last all day and there will be different guest hosts throughout the day.
*A reminder that the orphan block and page 32 challenge are due at the September meeting.
*The De-stash event will be held outside Sew to Speak in Worthington on 10/4/26 from 12-3 PM. Please contact Brooke or any board member if you have something to donate to the de-stash event.
*Emily collected the entries for the community quilt challenge for QuiltCon and then led a vote for the design. The winner was Tesselation which was designed by Jennifer Hershner. Emily will submit a picture of the finished quilt by the end of the year.
*Susie Fabro spoke about the Gala to raise money for MVOB in October. We will be submitting items for an OSU themed basket, a zoo themed basket and a pub crawl basket. If you have any items for those baskets, bring them to the September meeting.
*Guest speaker was Tami Pfeil from Behg Desings. Tami gave trunk show and instructions for making quilted rugs.
*Show and tell was held and meeting was adjourned at 8:40 PM
