Budget discussion held:
Programming budget for 2026 was $1200 We have paid out $1264.30 so far . We have brought in $1845 which includes retreat payments and workshop fees paid by members. It appears we have a balance of $581 in the programming budget. This includes what people have paid for the retreat. We still owe $1350 for this year’s retreat. We need to check with Berlin Grand to determine exactly what we owe and we also need to know what our specific income is for the retreat. We need to determine our break even point before we cancel the entire event. We need 5 additional people to sign up in order to break even.
12 people at the luncheon We had income of $730 and cost was ?
Retreat:
11 are members and 4 are nonmembers are registered for total of $1200. This is $150 short of break-even point.
Discussion held to raise the cost of our events so that we make at least a small profit for the guild.

Ideas for guild meetings:
Use the national guild resources. Members watch the video ahead of time and we will work on it during the meeting.
Everybody makes a block and then raffle them off. Example– the economy block
Sew in events to increase social interacting.
Focus on the individual guild members talents to save money.
Fat quarter exchange
Take aways:
Where do we stand on the retreat? What is income and what do we owe? What will it be if we drop Wednesday and how late can we stay on Wednesday? What is the cut off day for changing reservations?
Susan will send out email concerning retreat
Consider The Millersburg Hotel for future retreats as it is likely cheaper
Community Quilt coming along well.
