COMQG September 2019 Meeting Minutes, JoAnn Polaris location

Elections- Three people volunteered for the Nominating Committee (thanks guys!). This year’s elections will be in person and via email. Ashley will send out job description and applications to submit to the Nominating Committee so keep an eye out for the email!

Treasury – Our budget runs September to August. Considering changing to a calendar year. This would align us with National MQG. Our treasury is about $1,000 in the black.

Fundraising – tickets can be purchased for our raffle quilt online (see our guild’s web site). Tickets were also sold at the Worthington Farmer’s Market and will be at the De-Stash on the Green in front of Sew to Speak on Oct.5  from 8AM-2PM. Please contact Marah or Kelsey if you have quality items to donate for sale at the De-Stash.

2020 Quilt Con Charity Quilt – designs have been sent to members to vote on 2 top faves. Kits will be distributed for the winning design so everyone can pitch in. (Then you can point at a block and say, “I made that one!”)

Happy Hour- We’ll be at Endeavor Brewery in Grandview on September 26 @ 6:30. Expect lots of fun, conversation, and a make & take project. Oh, and good food and beverages as well!
