There will be a silent auction with some very nice, themed gift baskets.
Postcards to promote the event have been printed. We have also learned that the butterflies for Blooms
& Butterflies will be out for our event which will tie in nicely with our theme.
If you are a member of another quilt guild and can extend a personal invitation, please contact Patty or Cynthia A. for postcards to pass out.
Lissa introduced a Color challenge 2023 at the January meeting. You should have received an email
regarding the challenge on 1/13. Use the Pantone color of the year, Viva Magenta, and the paint chip
you pulled at the January meeting. (if you were not at the meeting, Lissa will have paint chips available
at the March meeting or contact her directly). Make whatever project you want using these two colors
predominantly in your piece. You may add other colors and use solids or prints. We will have the Color
challenge Show and tell at the June meeting.
Upcoming programs include: Participation in the 2023 COSI festival in May. A survey was sent to gage
interest in help with this project on May 6.
Nancy Crow has invited us to visit her barn on May 17.
