Young of Lillyella Stitchery will be our guest speaker. Hors d’eouvres and lunch will be catered by Creative Cuisine. There is a
vegetarian lunch option. Other special diets (gluten free/egg free/vegan) can be accommodated as long as the
caterer is notified by March 4. Tickets are on sale now at EventBrite for $80 each and there is a 100-
person limit. This will include food & beverage, admission to the conservatory, the program by Nicole Young, handmade gift
bags filled with small favors, as well as a ticket to win one of the many door prizes! Extra Chance tickets to increase odds of winning a door prize are going to be sold. Nicole Young will vend her patterns and kits.

There will be a silent auction with some very nice, themed gift baskets.
Postcards to promote the event have been printed. We have also learned that the butterflies for Blooms
& Butterflies will be out for our event which will tie in nicely with our theme.

Lissa introduced a Color challenge 2023 at the January meeting. You should have received an email
regarding the challenge on 1/13. Use the Pantone color of the year, Viva Magenta, and the paint chip
you pulled at the January meeting. (if you were not at the meeting, Lissa will have paint chips available
at the March meeting or contact her directly). Make whatever project you want using these two colors
predominantly in your piece. You may add other colors and use solids or prints. We will have the Color
challenge Show and tell at the June meeting.
